Nor Mohd Syazwan bin Che Hasim (Managing Partner)
Syazwan graduated from International Islamic University Malaysia and was called to the Bar on 18th February 2016. He had undergone his pupillage at Messrs Zulpadli Edham. Based on his tremendous performance, he was retained as a Legal Assistant by the firm to develop his skills both in litigation and advocacy, both in banking and general matters. He joined Messrs Yusfarizal Aziz Zaid as a pioneering partner for Ampang Branch starting from 22nd May 2017 until 15th October 2017. Syazwan had gained considerable experience to conduct a wide range of litigation cases. He is a litigator that is willing to go extra miles to satisfy his client’s need.
In the litigation and dispute resolution field, Syazwan has experience of debt recovery involving civil action until judgment for housing loan, personal loan, hire purchase, Islamic loan facility, credit card facility, etc. He had handled cases for various banks including but not limited to Bank Kerjasama Rakyat Malaysia, Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad, Al-Rajhi Bank Malaysia, and he also experienced in handling cases for co-operative societies such as Koperasi Maju Ekonomi Pekerja Berhad (KOPESADIK), Koperasi Bank Islam (KOBIMBING), and Tekun Nasional, etc.
Syazwan has experienced in handling civil cases relating to High Court and Land Office foreclosure proceedings, private auctions, and post-auction procedures. He also has vast experience in handling execution proceedings such as Bankruptcy, Winding-up, Garnishee Proceedings, Judgment Debtor Summons, Writ Seizure & Sale, etc. He prepares and renders opinions and legal advice pertaining to Banking Litigation Issues and various aspects of legal matters. Throughout his career, Syazwan has numerous experiences in handling a wide range of personal injury claims and conducting a full trial for negligence suits, including Medical Negligence cases and Defamation. He also conducts cases on probate & letter of administration in both Land Office and High Court proceedings.
In corporate and conveyancing matters, Syazwan had an opportunity to represent Koperasi Maju Pekerja Ekonomi (KOPESADIK) in preparing consultant agreements worth RM2.0 million. He also prepares Sale & Purchase Agreements, including sub-sale transactions, direct sales from developers, Perfection of Transfer, & Charge for individual and corporate institutions.

Azeel Eskandar bin Azmi (Managing Partner)
Azeel graduated from the International Islamic University Malaysia and was called to the Bar on 27th May 2016. He had undergone his pupillage at Messrs Zulpadli & Edham. Based on his tremendous performance, he was retained as a Legal Assistant by the Firm to further develop his skills in general litigation and corporate & commercial matters. He joined Messrs Yusfarizal, Aziz & Zaida as a pioneering partner for the Ampang Branch, starting from 04.04.2017 to 15.10.2017. Known among his colleagues to be a hard-working team player, he also portrays leadership qualities and always has a complete solution for any knotty issues presented before him. Equipped with management and business skills, Azeel had spearheaded the firm towards rapid expansion and ventures.
In the litigation and dispute resolution department, Azeel had conducted and prepared a full-blown trial in Personal Injury cases. He is also well-versed in the recovery of debt involving civil actions, including housing loans, personal loans, hire purchases, Islamic Loan facilities, credit card facilities, etc. He had handled cases for various financial institutions.

He had an opportunity to assist and conduct a full trial representing Datuk Bandar Kuala Lumpur (DBKL) in various matters. He is also involved in conducting the appeal case of Batu Kemas Industries Sdn Bhd v Government of Malaysia & Anor in the Court of Appeal & Federal Court. Throughout his legal career, Azeel had conducted numerous hearings of interlocutory applications (Summary Judgment, striking out, Stay of execution), conducting a full trial for negligence suits, including Medical Negligence cases, and also Defamation cases, including handling the case related to probate & letter of administration.
While in the corporate and conveyancing area, Azeel was recently appointed by Atira Development Sdn Bhd as the lead solicitor for a development project in Bachok, Kelantan. He also represents Koperasi Maju Pekerja Ekonomi (KOPESADIK) in preparing a consultant Agreement worth RM2.0 Million. He is able to prepare Sale & Purchase agreements, including sub-sale transactions, direct sales from developers, Perfection of Transfer & Charge for individuals and Corporate Institutions.
On top of that, Azeel also has experience in preparing joint venture agreements, event management agreements, and sponsorship agreements for urban-redevelopment projects in Kampung Baru. He also prepared corporate and business loan documentation for facilities of RM1 million and above for various financial institutions under the concepts of Bai Bithaman Ajil (BBA), Tawarruq, Mudharabah, and Ijarah.

Azzan Aznan bin Abdul Rahim (Partner)
Azzan is a law graduate from the International Islamic University Malaysia. He read in chambers at Messrs Azmi Hussain & Co in March 2017. Upon completing his pupillage tenure, he commenced his legal career in April 2018 and has never looked back since. Being a legal practitioner with a hands-on approach, he has personally handled legal conflicts of various natures in the Court of Law. He has gained considerable experience and has represented numerous individuals, corporate entities, and private foundations in hearings, full trials, and appeals. He is a litigator who is willing to go the extra mile to satisfy his client’s needs. In 2019, he was admitted as Syarie Counsel (Federal Territory) by the Syariah High Court of Kuala Lumpur.

Atiqah Hanim binti Aminuddin Conveyancing (Head of Department)
Atiqah was called to the Malaysian Bar on 18th February 2016. She was a Legal Assistant at Messrs Zulpadli & Edham from February 2016 until October 2019, specializing in conveyancing matters. She handled loan documentations and advised on the drawdown of facilities for various financial institutions, including but not limited to Maybank Islamic Berhad, CIMB Islamic Bank, Bank Islam Malaysia Berhad, RHB Islamic Bank Berhad, Bank Muamalat Malaysia Berhad, Hong Leong Islamic Bank, Public Islamic Bank, Bank Kerjasama Rakyat Malaysia Berhad, and Lembaga Pembiayaan Perumahan Sektor Awam (LPPSA).
She has been exposed to and attended to various direct developer cases, including the redevelopment of Kampung Kerinchi by Suez Domain Sdn Bhd, now known as “KL Gateway,” Ensan Residence Project, Residensi Alami Project at Sepang by Worldwide Holdings Berhad located in Seksyen 13 Shah Alam, Bukit Botak Project, Double Storey House known as “Puncak Temala” under PPA1M scheme by Temala Development Sdn Bhd located in Marang, Terengganu, Rumah Selangorku Idaman Residensi Project at Cyberjaya by Perbadanan Kermajuan Negeri Selangor, Desa Budiman Project Phase 6C at Hulu Langat by Pujangga Development Sdn Bhd, and Halya Project by Worldwide Holdings Berhad.
Besides, she was also responsible for attending to sub-sale matters, refinancing, auctions, discharge of charges, perfection of transfer and charge, and replacement of title cases for various financial institutions. She then joined Messrs Izzati, Zuriyanti & Co. from July 2020 until October 2021 as a Legal Assistant for the conveyancing department.

Nurul Nadia Syafini binti Zubir Debt Recovery Litigation (Head of Department)
Nadia’s journey in the legal field began after her graduation from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) and subsequent admission to the Bar on 11th August 2017. During her formative years, she underwent rigorous training during her pupillage at Messrs Zulpadli & Edham. Her exceptional performance and dedication to the intricacies of the law led to her retention as a Legal Assistant by the firm. This position allowed her to further enhance her skills, especially in the realms of litigation and advocacy in banking litigation.
Eager to broaden her expertise and delve into a new branch of law, Nadia sought new horizons. Consequently, she embraced an opportunity at Messrs Syazwan Hasim & Azeel Eskandar, where she commenced her role as a legal assistant on 01.09.2019. Muhammad Asyraff bin Mohammad Ariff Conveyancing (Head of Department for Sales & Purchase Department)
Asyraff is a graduate from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) with Bachelor of Law (Hons.) LL.B in 2015 and Bachelor of Law Syariah (Hons.) LL.B_S in 2016. After serving the pupillage period, he was called to the Bar as Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in Malacca on February 2017. He is also a qualified Syariah lawyer for the State of Malacca.
After acquiring double degrees, He became a pupil-in-chamber at Messrs Kartini and Partners under the guidance of Puan Norulhuda binti Ninggal where he handled mostly conveyancing matters and some civil and shariah litigation cases. Having two years of practice experience as legal assistant at 3 different firms Messrs Kartini & Partners, Messrs Hafizah Nik Nazifah & Partners and Messrs Faiz Hasan & Co. he experience various legal matters from the beginning of receiving the brief until completion of a case.

Effective from March 2023 until present, He is one of the Legal Assistance cum Head of Department (Sales & Purchase) to the firm of Syazwan Hasim & Azeel Eskandar which is based in Ampang, Selangor.

After completing her pupillage and had been called to bar on 9th February 2023, she is now working with Messrs Syazwan hasim & Azeel Eskandar since 2nd March 2023 to broaden her expertise as Conveyancing lawyer. She handled loan documentation for financial institutions. In addition, she is also an experienced civil ligitation lawyer where she attended open court matters, hearings and trials despite the short-term practice.
